IT DEEL is a new project for the upcoming years by the Kleefstra Bros in collaboration with Popfabryk. The underlying motive for this new project is the disastrous damage to the nature. Together with guest musicians the brothers work on new material in the Thomaskerk in Katlijk (Friesland, NL) which stands in relation to this theme of environmental decline. Each project is presented live in front of an audience after a week, and results in a vinyl release on Moving Furniture Records.

For tens, to hundreds of years they are bound to this specific spot, surrender to it. With untouchable patience, many of the trees in Oranjewoud (an old forest in Friesland) have seen many generations of people pass by. IT DEEL w języku fryzyjskim oznacza „część” i jest to jednocześnie tytuł wspólnego projektu Jacaszka oraz pochodzących z Fryzji braci – Jana i Romke Kleefstra.
Fryzja to dawna, rolnicza kraina położona nad Morzem Północnym, w północno-wschodniej części Holandii. Obszar ten, pod względem krajobrazu naturalnego, jest zaskakująco podobny do polskich Żuław, co pozwala na przypuszczenie, że fryzyjscy mennonici nie bez powodu upodobali sobie na nowe miejsce zamieszkania deltę Wisły.
IT DEEL jest muzyczno-poetyckim hołdem złożonym Fryzji; jej pejzażowi oraz charakterystycznemu językowi, w którym Jan Kleefstra nieśpiesznie melorecytuje własne teksty. Fryzyjskim słowom towarzyszy muzyka – gitarowe ambienty Romke oraz elektronika Jacaszka. Dla polskiego kompozytora, żyjącego i tworzącego w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie polskich Żuław, Fryzja okazała się równie bliską inspiracją. W jego elektronice „słychać” zamgloną przestrzeń pól, ciszę i melancholię.
