The Star: “This season, for example, includes the premiere of Incipit Vita Nova, a work commissioned from Toronto-raised dance theatre alumnus Belinda McGuire. Since leaving the troupe almost a decade ago, she has completed a dance degree at New York’s Juilliard School, performed with leading contemporary troupes in the United States and now works mostly as a solo artist under the banner of her own Belinda McGuire Dance Projects. Incipit Vita Nova marks the first time Wintersong has featured a work by a former company member.
